"I was given a quote for car insurance for $156.00. I was immediately sold, however, with the car insurance plan I was told about a “package plan” which included other coverage outside of car insurance.
The day of payment had two separate charges outside of the $156 go through my account. One for $18.21 and one for $21.11. THEN an attempted charge of $166 tried to process through my account. The two separate charges that were processed was for the policies outside of the car insurance plan that I was not told about. I was never told a break down and the total amount I was told was NOT $205 which is what those 3 amounts come out equal. When I spoke to the agent Andy who stated he was here to “help” me. Did not explain I would be paying $205. He stated I would be paying $156 for car insurance. When I asked about the separate charges he stated he did tell me the total was going to be $186. He attempted to charge my card for $205. I was lied to. Plain and simple. Misinformed and basically manipulated. I want to speak to who is above this agent. I am not happy with the customer service I received. I am going to keep State Farm. Car insurance only. I’m not going to blame the company for one agent. I was saved money from my previous policy and I was stoked about that. The misinformation and leaving information out to benefit his sales is beyond me. He said the calls are recorded and his notes stated my total was $186. So where did the total of $205 come from that I was NEVER told. When I asked Andy to tell me what the total was he said $186. Tuesday he told me $156. What came out of my bank account would have been $205.
This is wrong in so many ways.
Please, whoever is above this individual, Andy, I need assistance please."
